White Label Now Live
We’re excited to announce that White Label is now available and included in our Professional and Premium packages! You can now fully customize the HotelBuddy interface to match your brand:
Replace the HotelBuddy logo with your own
Apply your brand’s primary colour

New Guest Profile Updates
We’ve introduced new functionality that gives guests more flexibility and resolves common multi-room booking issues. Currently available for Opera Cloud and Suite8, more PMS integrations coming soon.
Edit profile: Guests can update the name on an existing profile → Hotel receives an email notification when a name is changed
Replace profile: Guests can fully replace the profile name → Prevents guests from overwriting each other in multi-room bookings
Adding profiles: Guests can add additional people to a reservation and are advised that additional guests may incur extra fees → Hotel receives an email notification when new guests are added

How to enable:
Go to Settings → Guest Journey → Guest Info and enable:
Allow adding additional guests
Allow renaming guests
Allow replacing guests

Improved Language Mapping
We’ve improved how guest language preferences are determined for Suite 8 customers. Previously, communication relied on the PMS language field — which is often incomplete or limited. Now we determine language based on: Guest citizenship → Country
Example: An Italian guest will now automatically receive emails in Italian. This results in more accurate and personalized guest communication.
Kiosk Check-In Improvements
Guests can now check in via kiosk until 08:00 AM on the following day.
Improved Casting Instructions
We’ve made casting instructions clearer and easier to follow for guests, improving the in-room entertainment experience.

MFA & Stronger Login Security
We’ve added new security measures to better protect your hotel and guest data:
Protection against repeated login attempts
Temporary account lock after multiple failed attempts
Automatic reset after successful login
MFA is now enabled during login
MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) adds an extra login step by sending a one-time code to your email, making it harder for others to access your account even if they have your password. MFA is now automatically enabled during login. We strongly recommend keeping it enabled. If you stay logged in on the same device, your session can last up to 7 days of inactivity and up to 30 days with regular use.

Connection Error Notifications
We have enabled system notifications so hotels are now automatically alerted about PMS connection errors, as well as payment and article posting errors in Suite 8.

HotelBuddy Lite is Now Live
We’re excited to launch HotelBuddy Lite — a free, web-based guest experience platform that requires no PMS integration or app downloads. With HotelBuddy Lite, you can:
Create a digital hotel directory in minutes
Share information via link or QR code
Provide guests with: Wi-Fi details, check-out info, breakfast times, restaurant menus, other hotel services and FAQs
