We’ve rolled out several exciting product updates to make HotelBuddy even easier to use for your team and smoother for your guests. These updates help you personalize the customer journey, improve your workflow, and improve the overall guest experience.
Flexible Extra Service Pricing
HotelBuddy now gives you more control over how you price and sell your additional services. In addition to setting fixed prices or charging per person, you can now price services per night— giving you more flexibility in how you package and sell add-ons.

Extra Services: Easy to Edit, Copy & Control
HotelBuddy now makes managing extra services faster and easier with a new all-in-one settings page. You can view, edit, copy, or delete services in just a few clicks — no need to jump between menus. Whether you're adjusting prices, changing service types, or updating seasonal offers, everything is now accessible in one place.
You also have full control over how each service is paid: automatically confirm, require prepayment, or post to the PMS upon confirmation. (Note: posting before arrival depends on your PMS permissions.) This flexibility helps reduce manual work for your team and ensures guests get a smooth booking experience.

Smarter SMS Notifications
HotelBuddy keeps guests informed with automated email and SMS updates — like when online check-in opens, the room is ready, or check-out is available. Hotels can now disable SMS notifications entirely or manage them individually, giving you more control over communication costs and strategy.

Improved Guest Registration
Speed up the check-in process by showing most common guest nationalities first. Hotels can now define their most popular countries in the settings — these will appear at the top of the citizenship and country dropdown menus during registration.


Bug Fixes & Other Product Updates
Improved guest app dashboard layout for iPhone users, ensuring a cleaner, more intuitive experience.
Enhanced email formatting across different email clients, so all messages look consistent and professional.
